Great salmon fly fishing!
River
Repparfjord
This is truly one
of the best fly fishing rivers for salmon. Last season's
catch was 10 tons! We are offering a full package with
good accommodation and excellent meals at Skaidi
Fjellstue. Including the ONLY licenses giving you the
right to fish for salmon in the whole length of this
rivers salmon run. There are only 6 licenses like this
and booking this package is the only way to obtain
fishing for 100km of salmon run in this superb river.

The packages are only sold for groups of 4-9 fishermen,
staying at a minimum of 3 days.
Both average size and amount of salmon as well as
type and size of river, river Repparfjord will very well compare to the
very best in Iceland.
The river offer adventurous fly fishing in ravines as
well as easy access able pools close to the road. Every
other licenses are only for one of the defined zones and
only obtainable through a lottery. There are not many
fishermen there at any time and you will always,
carrying our license, find your pool in solitude if you
choose to.
Your
host at the Skaidi Lodge, Lars Bjørn Mehus, will cook you meals from the
very best ingredients from the northern part of Norway:

The concept of Arctic Nature AS, and at Skaidi Fjellstue
AS (Skaidi Mountain Lodge) is based on high quality
ingredients harvested and gathered in Arctic Finnmark,
for instance reindeer meat, grouse, bacalao, and the
authentic wild Atlantic salmon. Enjoy our specialities,
selfsmoked wild salmon and dried cod with some fine wine
or with a glass of our Arctic Beer.
The
host can show you the best pools to fish and also prior
to your arrival, tips of flies and map of pools will be
presented.
Accommodations:
Skaidi
Fjellstue offers 6 sleeping rooms.
All together they contain 20 beds.
We run a restaurant kitchen, always at your service.
We have the privilege to serve all drinks.
Experience our wood burning sauna under the midnight
sun, and relax on the veranda with the best view to the
exciting pools of the great Repparfjord River, planning
your next attempt for the big catch.
Your host is your guide, and will do his best to help
you become a lucky angler.
At the Lodge you can enjoy a drink by the fire at the
barbeque site out doors, while we cook the wild Atlantic
Salmon for your dish. After dinner you rest in the
lavvu (the original sami tent, tipi-like) on
reindeerskins with our fireboiled coffee in your
personal wooden cup.
The
easiest way to get there is to fly to Alta Airport where
you hire a car or the host pick you up. The lodge is
only 200m from the river and good salmon pools are found
both upstream and downstream in walking distance.

The price is NOK2550,- /EUR313,-per
person per day all included except:
Canned and bottled beverages and alcohols are not included in any
of the prices given.
Personal guiding is extra.
Car hire, the car waiting for you at Alta Airport: NOK500,-
/EUR61,- per day + diesel.
This is a
Citroen Xantia 2,1 td 5 seats car.
Cash at Site, against receipt, unless other agreements are made
beforehand.
